Premium Pet Products With a Purpose

Sancho & Lola are two German Shorthair Pointers we adopted from Texas GSP Rescue - both were found in bleak conditions. Sancho was severely abused and after 6 years, still suffers from extreme PTSD. Pointers are high-energy dogs that often get mistreated because people do not give them the exercise they need, which can cause them to become destructive. Lola, our more recent adoption, was found emaciated with an extreme case of heart-worms. Seeing my dog's struggles inspired me to figure out a way to help other dogs coming from similar circumstances. I volunteered at local rescue events, but with my background in sales and marketing, I felt I could do something on a larger scale.

Thus, in 2015, I started Sancho & Lola’s Closet, a boutique brand of pet products owned and operated in Lewisville,Texas. It was a huge challenge because I was working with natural products with low profit margins, but my dream of being part of the solution to canine abandonment did come into fruition. In our first two and a half years, we donated over $18,000 to several rescues located in different parts of the country. This was in the form of monetary donations and product donations sold at fundraising events.

My vision for our brand is to offer high quality products that we use ourselves. I studied holistic nutrition for 8 years, and spent countless hours researching the healthiest ingredients to feed my dogs. So it made sense to start with single-ingredient chews and limited-ingredient treats that would add functional nutritional value and/or dental benefits for dogs, such as not causing inflammation. GMO corn, wheat and soy have been linked to joint pain, skin allergies and GI distress. Artificial flavors, colors and preservatives have been linked to cancer and other diseases.

I love my dogs like children, and I know that if you are reading this, you do too. You can count on Sancho & Lola's Closet's commitment to provide products that will enhance the life of your dog and, hopefully, contribute to a longer, happier life for them.

I hope you’ll join us on this journey.
